You have been subscribed to a public bug by Adolfo Jayme (fitoschido):
Hi, I'm one of the upstream maintainers of this package (with Linux
Mint).
This particular package is extremely out-of-date, and is currently
unmaintained (We provide a PPA for up-to-date builds of these packages).
Unfortunately, unwitting Ubuntu users either:
a) Install this obsolete package and encounter bugs that won't ever get fixed, or are caused by newer versions of Gtk+ 3 (for example)
b) Install the PPA version but think this page is for support of that version.
And on top of it all, they have a (rightful) expectation of some sort of
support on this distribution when there is none.
I know there are efforts being made in Debian currently, to provide up-
to-date packages (new maintainer), but that could take some time, is by
no means a sure thing, and in the meantime, I'd prefer this page didn't
even exist, or at least the package removed and the page made
effectively read-only.
Thank you.
