Colin Watson has proposed merging lp:~cjwatson/ubuntu-archive-publishing/avoid-lp-query-distro into lp:ubuntu-archive-publishing.

Add a new get-supported-series.py script, and use it in favour of lp-query-distro.py.

cron.germinate is the one remaining user of lp-query-distro.py.  Replace it with a simple bit of launchpadlib.

The only behaviour change here is that, as discussed a few weeks ago, this considers unsupported statuses to be Future and Obsolete, as opposed to lp-query-distro.py's Experimental and Obsolete which is wrong for this purpose since Experimental is a live status.
