usb-imagewriter hasn't been updated since oneiric; it's functionality
might have been superseded by usb-creator or other installation methods,
or our images might not even need it any more.
It still hard-depends on "hal", which really ought to die. It also pulls
in python-gnome2, gksu, python-glade, all of which are APIs which
haven't been supported in a long time. So if we still need this for some
reason, this needs a thorough modernization.
If we don't need it any more, can we just remove it?
** Affects: usb-imagewriter (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
