* The crashes are related to a very old version of Shutter 0.88.1-1 (December 2011)
* 15 bugs in total is buggy for you? gnome-screenshot has 51

* You can turn of autostart in Shutter's preferences window
* No upstream changes this year, right - But: The latest upstream version of Shutter is 0.90 (0.89 in the archives)

Please upload Shutter to the latest upstream version instead of removing it.
