You have been subscribed to a public bug by Jonathan Thomas (echidnaman):

Tagua currently uses the libkdegames API for its core game board
rendering. With KDE 4.9, libkdegames has undergone massive API changes
which are source-incompatible with tagua, making it fail rebuild tests.
Furthermore, Tagua upstream has not made an upstream release since 2007.
I did a bit of research, and it seems that Tagua was replaced by a
version written in Ruby called "Kaya", not to be confused with the
programming language of the same name. (Unfortunate for anybody wanting
to package it...)

There are no Ubuntu changes to this package, and it is maintained
entirely in Debian, but with Wheezy's freeze coming soon it is unlikely
that the KDE 4.9 upgrade will happen within the Wheezy release cycle. As
it is currently unbuildable and by extension unmaintainable, for the
time being, it would make sense to drop the package and blacklist it
from being synced from Debian. (popcon of only 17 active users)

** Affects: tagua (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Medium
         Status: Confirmed
