** Changed in: php-suhosin (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided => Critical
** Description changed:
Upstream has disappeared, and has not agreed to support PHP 5.4. The
latest changes from Debian conflict and/or break this package to avoid
problems caused by incomplete 5.4 support. After contacting both the
php5 and php-suhosin maintainers in Debian, it seems like this package
should be removed from Ubuntu until such time as upstream fully supports
PHP 5.4.
Currently php cannot migrate from raring-proposed -> raring because
php5-suhosin is uninstallable now due to php5-common conflicting with
it.
+
+ Also the package that is currently in the archive (since 12.04) is not
+ even allowed into Debian testing because of the 4 RC bugs in it.
