Please sync freevo 1.9.2b2-2 (universe) from Debian testing (main)
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
* Merge from debian testing. Remaining changes:
- debian/control: Replace Depends on mplayer with xine-ui; Remove xine-ui
from Recommends
* Droped changes, applied in Debian:
- debian/control: Replace python2.6 Build-Depends with python (>= 2.6)
- debian/pyversion: Replace 2.6 with 2.6,2.7
* debian/control: Build-Depends on docbook-utils to fix FTBFS
(Closes: #648989)
Hi, now the unique change in freevo is that it depends on xine-ui instead of
mplayer.
It is an old change from Jaunty:
freevo (1.8.1-3ubuntu2) jaunty; urgency=low
* Do not let freevo depend on mplayer, so it can be placed in Universe.
Move xine-ui from Recommends to Depends to provide a good alternative.
As neither package is in main and freevo builds fine in pbuilder I think
the best option is sync it.
Regards,
Changelog entries since current precise version 1.9.2b2-1ubuntu1:
freevo (1.9.2b2-2) unstable; urgency=low
* update to svn 11905
* python-freevo dependencies: add python-gdata, python-imdb, youtube-dl,
and bump version for kaa, and remove python-support
* by defaults, use mplayer autodetect for video and audio
* fix Typo in the .desktop file, thanks to Andrea Carpineti
(Closes: #620153).
* fix "Extra packages" section of README.Debian, thanks to
Geoff Simmons (Closes: #646188).
* [INTL:pt_BR] Brazilian Portuguese debconf templates, thanks
to Flamarion Jorge (Closes: #610404).
* add docbook-utils build-dependency (Closes: #648989).
* Use 'python-all' as b-d, not 'python-all-dev'.
