Version 1.99.3 of the Armadillo C++ library is an old beta release that contains a bug when multiplying tiny matrices.

The beta release is not supported by upstream and was released only for
testing purposes.

I strongly recommend updating to new stable version 2.0.1, which corrects bugs found in the beta releases.
