[Bug 825538] [NEW] ecasound2.2 partially superseded by ecasound

You have been subscribed to a public bug by Matthias Klose (doko):

The ecasound2.2 source package is set up to build the 'ecasound' binary
package, but there is now a newer ecasound source package that builds a
newer version of this (and if libecasound-ruby1.8).  This leaves
libecasound2.2-dev the only package from ecasound2.2 source that's up-
to-date, and as a result it's not possible to upload ecasound2.2 - it
gets rejected by the archive when trying to overwrite the newer version
of ecasound, libecasound-ruby1.8.

Since there are no packages using libecasound2.2-dev, this package
should be removed from the archive - preferably in coordination with
Debian.
