Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
The ubuntu delta was to fix a FTBFS (because of introspection support in
Ubuntu). This one has been wrongly drop in latest in the ubuntu package.
Debian has integrated the ubuntu diff and the new version builds and works well
with latest empathy
