There may also be an issue with the new version of
vte_terminal_fork_command, which is deprecated and replaced by
vte_terminal_fork_command_full. I found that the env_vars patch didn't
completely fix bug 651578 after all, so I started using ...fork_full
which did appear to fix it, so I recommend applying the fork_full patch
from bug 651578 before releasing.
