Thank you Scott for your clarifying message.

I'm not maintaining bootchart, just -2. We're just different maintainers. Do you
have a bugreport handy?

Yes, I noticed that too. And I'd like to fix that, if possible.

I guess I'll take some time to see the "bootchart" package in Ubuntu -- which I
see now diverged enough to be considered something different :)

$ rmadison bootchart
 bootchart | 0.9-4           | etch  | source, all
 bootchart | 0.10~svn407-3   | lenny | source, all
 bootchart | 0.10~svn407-3.3 | sid   | source, all
$ rmadison -u ubuntu bootchart
 bootchart | 0.9-0ubuntu6 |        dapper | source, all
 bootchart | 0.9-0ubuntu7 |         hardy | source, all
 bootchart |   0.90.1-3 | jaunty/universe | source, amd64, i386
 bootchart |   0.90.2-3 | karmic/universe | source, amd64, i386
 bootchart |   0.90.2-7 |         lucid | source, amd64, i386
 bootchart |   0.90.2-7 | maverick/universe | source, amd64, i386
 bootchart |   0.90.2-7 | natty/universe | source, amd64, i386
$

Scott, if bootchart2 upstream ACKs your (Ubuntu's) changes, would you agree to
find a common path to reduce the Deb-Ubu delta, and have a common package (or,
at least, a common basis)?

(I should probably also contact the bootchart Debian maintainer)

Thank you,
David
