Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
Only change was pre-depends on xml-core to ensure proper upgrade ordering until lucid included; not needed anymore

Changelog entries since current maverick version 0.8.1-4ubuntu1:

rarian (0.8.1-4.1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Non-maintainer upload.
  * Clean-up old scrollkeeper's XML catalog so that rarian-compat can
    register its own catalog. Closes: #532271.
