@cantorman, in this instance at least Ubuntu is following Debian, where
the package was dropped http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=540475 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=468602 basically the functionality was duplicated
in the core and in another library.
