Please sync slang2 2.1.4-3 (main) from Debian unstable (main).
Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
We had two patches in the jaunty version of slang:
- - "091_modern_hostent.patch": that got fixed indepedantly
* FTBFS with glibc-2.8. Closes: #491798.
- - "092_slang-nointerlibc.patch": that got merged into debian as:
* Add nointerlibc patch from fedora to avoid using private glibc symbols.
Changelog since current karmic version 2.1.3-3ubuntu3:
slang2 (2.1.4-3) unstable; urgency=low
* Add libslang-modules package for slsh modules used by third-party
applications. Closes: #524825, #524849.
* Remove -lm -ldl from slsh link line (uses no symbols from these).
