[Bug 344171] [NEW] Please remove usbview from the archive

Binary package hint: usbview

usbview is no longer maintained upstream and depends on the
/proc/bus/usb (usbfs) filesystem that is deprecated and likely to be
marked embedded-only in future kernel versions.  Since porting it to use
sysfs would be a near-complete rewrite, and the functionality is
available from other tools such as lsusb and gnome-device-manager, it
would be better to simply remove it from the archive.

Please do so, and blacklist to prevent further syncs from Debian.

I spoke with the Debian maintainer about this:

<broonie> May as well, it's not massively useful.
 You can always use lsusb instead.
