Please sync desktop-base 5.0.5 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).
Versions >= 5.0.4 ship config files compatible with Xfce 4.6 (I don't think it's widely used in Ubuntu as there is xubuntu-default-settings, but it can't hurt...).
