Please sync giplet 0.1.8-2 (universe) from Debian unstable (main).

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
This package was initially packaged and used to be maintained in Ubuntu by me,
but is now maintained by someone else in Debian. There is nothing specific to
Ubuntu which would require keeping a delta with Debian.

Changelog since current jaunty version 0.1.7-0ubuntu1:

giplet (0.1.8-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Re-edit the 01_fix_about.dpatch: Do not list any packager in the about
    dialog window. 
  * debian/docs: Remove README file and do not install it with dh_installdocs. 
    README file contains copyright information which is already present in 
    debian/copyright.
  * debian/docs: Remove NEWS file which does not contain documentation.
  * debian/rules: make dh_installchangelogs install NEWS instead of ChangeLog
    (the end-user doesn't want the details of each commit). 
  * Thanks to Adrien Cunin for suggestions.
  * debian/rules: build-stamp target depends on $(DPATCH_STAMPFN) instead of
    patch-stamp (Closes: #510311).

giplet (0.1.8-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release 
  * Remove python-gtk2-dev from build dependencies since upstream changed as
    requested the configure script. Thanks Lyman Li.
  * Feature request solved upstream: Add an icon for giplet which appear when
    adding the applet to a panel.
