wow, that was fast... Actually my plan was to hint you towards this later on 
irc ;).

Sorry, this is a little bit hideous in the package. The copyright file is in 
the orig.tar.gz, (copyright), and gets copied during build. The reason is 
that the it's not specific to debian and I'd like to avoid having two 
identical files in two places.

Now, if a static debian/copyright is absolutely necessary, should I copy this 
in clean instead of during building? (not my favored solution, but I guess I 
could live with it). Debian-policy doesn't seem to imply that a static 
debian/copyright file is required, but after some thinking, I could assume 
that some tools could take the file from the source package.
