You have been subscribed to a public bug by Andreas Wenning (andreas-wenning):

Please sync btrfs-tools 0.18-3 from debian unstable.

The package builds, installs and a quick test of the tools looks good as
well.

== Original description: ==
The current version of btrfs-tools (0.16) in jaunty is disk-format incompatible with the released version of BTRFS, which is committed to in 2.6.29 (released in 2-3 weeks), thus a stable format.

It seems that this version will be backported to 2.6.28 later, thus
buildable against jaunty's kernel.

At present, since BTRFS isn't offered with jaunty's kernel, there is
little hard to get an updated btrfs-tools package through the feature
freeze, meaning testing and development will be easier later also:

** Affects: btrfs-tools (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Medium
         Status: Confirmed
