NB: the odd -1 upstream versions of two modules above are an upstream
issue; they wont use dash versions anymore, these were brown paper back
re-releases by a person not doing the releases the rest of the time
NB2: updated to 0.5.9 which adds more bug fixes; wont update to 0.5.10
as it introduces a new UI

Hi,
I missed feature freeze to upload the new 0.5 elisa packages, but I
think we really want them for intrepid.
The current upstream version has been 0.3.5 for a while, is relatively
nice and stable, but the upstream team has been at hard work for many
months to provide a very cool set of 0.5 tarballs, now at 0.5.7. Most
bugs have been ironed out upstream already, so the risk is fairly low.

This is Elisa 0.5.7, seventh release of the 0.5 branch.
New features since 0.5.6:
- "Add Folders" now allows you to browse all your devices (including external
hard drives), not just your home folder as it was before.

scanned and the overall progress as a percentage.

- Port of the DAAP plugin from the 0.3.x series, which allows browsing DAAP
music shares (iTunes, Rhythmbox, Banshee, Amarok, Exaile, ...) on your local
network.
- First support for contextual actions in the music section:

This is Elisa 0.5.2, second release of the 0.5 branch.
Since 0.5.1, a bunch of critical bugs have been fixed and important features
that were in the 0.3.5 have been re-introduced.
These include:
- A media scanner that indexes one's music collection and allows one to browse
it by Artists/Albums, with automatic albums' covers and artists' photos
retrieval.
- Localization of the UI. Thanks to contributions from the community Elisa is
currently fully translated in Spanish, Catalan, French, Italian, German, Dutch,
Polish, Swedish and Brazilian Portuguese.
Bugs fixed since 0.5.1:
- 246717: Media Scanner hits the CPU and alter a lot the performances

Elisa 0.5.1 "Como se pasa"

This is Elisa 0.5.1, first release of the 0.5 branch.
It features a reworked architecture focused on full code pluggability and
polishing the graphical user interface adding a few small but important
usability features such as the possibility to add media directories directly
from the user interface and a shortcut bar to make browsing of large collections
easier.
Due to the move of the reports to Launchpad and the rework of the user interface
code there will be no list of fixed bugs compared to 0.3.5 here.
The diffstat is huge because of the 0.3 -> 0.5 architectural changes,
but also because of some plugin moves; it's also partly what delayed
packaging of 0.5 for me as I simply lacked the tools and/or courage to
do a full review of the Python imports.
The Elisa team is very responsive, so I'm confident we would get
immediate help if we were to meet any important issue.
I'd love to see elisa 0.5 rock in intrepid!
