** Attachment added: "ksimus_ubuntuold_to_ubuntunew.debdiff"

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: ksimus

  Hello,

- I think that ksimus should be synced from Debian unstable.
+ I think that ksimus should be merged from Debian unstable.

- * Source package name: ksimus
- * Source package version number to sync: 0.3.6-2-14
- * Sync from Debian unstable
- * All previous Ubuntu changes can be dropped, because they are included in Debian version:
- - Modified .desktop
- - Fix up ksimus.desktop file.
- + Move to /usr/share/applications.
- - Enabled dh_installmenu and dh_desktop
- - In debian/rules:
- + Replaced dh_iconcache with dh_icons.
- - Replaced ksimus/x-ksimus.desktop with ksimus/x-ksimus.xml according
- to freedesktop.org's shared-mime-info-spec specification. (debian/patches/fix_desktop_files.diff)
- - Edited build system files to use x-ksimus.xml instead of x-ksimus.desktop (debian/patches/fix_makefile_am.diff)
+ Remaining Ubuntu changes from the previous merge:
+ * Set Maintainer field to Ubuntu MOTU Developers.
+
+ As suggested by norsetto and Riddell in #ubuntu-motu channel, I made the following changes:
+ *x-ksimus.xml is reverted to x-ksimus.desktop. Patch fix_makefile_am.diff, which was needed to install .xml, is removed.
+ * Patch debian/patches/fix_desktop_files.diff is modifed:
+ - Set InitialPreferance, instead of X-InitialPreference in ksimus.desktop
+    - Remove the part of patch for x-ksimus.{desktop,xml}
+ * usr/share/applications/kde is added to debian/dirs, and usr/share/applications is removed.
+ * debian/rules is modified to install ksimus.desktop to /usr/share/applications/kde
