Hi there,

I know it's somewhat late, but there are a quite a few bug fixes in
the maintenance branch of e2fsprogs.  The most recent version is
1.40.7.

I've opened a request to sync to bug in Launchpad, here:

    https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/e2fsprogs/+bug/197167

But I thought I'd send you an e-mail to make sure it was noticed.
