Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:

Ubuntu delta was a build dependency on automake1.9, which has been fixed
in Debian.

Changelog since current intrepid version 2.66-1ubuntu1:

siege (2.66-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * debian/control:
    - Added Build-Depends: automake1.9. (Closes: #458266)
    - Build-Depends: libssl-dev (>= 0.9.8) instead libssl-dev (>= 0.9.8-1)
  * debian/copyright:
    - Added SSL license mention. (Closes: #463945)
  * Fixed inconsistent man page urls_txt.5.in in fix_man_pages.patch.
    (Closes: #414159)
  * Added fix_bashism.patch to fix bashism in bombardment script.
