Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:

Our only change was a dependency on update-inetd, but debian now
depends on openbsd-inetd | inetd-superserver. This in turn has a
dependency on update-inetd.

Changelog since current intrepid version 1.07-19.1ubuntu1:

uucp (1.07-19.2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Non-maintainer upload.
  * Drop debconf note dealing with an obsolete transition. Therefore
    drop the .config script and dependency on debconf.
