Hi,

I am one of the upstream developers of Mayavi2. We recently released of
version 2.2.0 which contains a fair amount of bug fixes and some
features often requested by the users. There would be great value in
backporting this to hardy. I have done an audit of the changes, and I am
pretty confident that no backward-incompatible changes creeped in. To
backport Mayavi2 you will also need to backport python-enthought-traits
and python-enthought-traits-ui, which have been released together as
part of the enthought tools suite release.
