I'm sorry, I miscommunicated.  I *guess* that the amule crash happens  
without the upgrade based on the stack trace and the fact that there  
are other known amule crashes with similar stack traces, but I  
haven't confirmed that yet, and neither has nxvl.

I'll attempt to confirm this now.
