Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
The only ubuntu change is 'Fix bashisms', and this is fixed in debian

Changelog since current hardy version 1:0.9-6ubuntu1:

blitz++ (1:0.9-6.1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Non-maintainer upload.
  * debian/rules: fix bashism. Closes: #455895.
