[Bug 217254] Re: open-vm-tools is an alpha quality release

Just wondering what the possible time frame might be before we see open-
vm-tools return to the repository? I'm currently working with JeOS 8.04
RC, and it is very unpractical to use the standard vmtools for each
virtual machine, as they require the installation of the build tools to
be installed. Is there somewhere
