The Ubuntu changes were:
 - apply patch from Debian bug #361725
 - recreate /var/run/ez-ipupdate/ in the init script
=> all changes are included in the Debian package

    + Create state directory in the init script rather than in the postinst,
      because /var/run can be wiped upon reboot (Closes: #414667). Thanks to
