Public bug reported:

As discussed in Bug #123677 in celementtree, this is now shipped as part
of Python2.5 and while shipping the old modules built for Python2.5 was
appropriate in Feisty (since it was the first Ubuntu release with
Python2.5 as default), for Gutsy, elementtree should only be built for
Python2.4. Building for Python2.5 was the only Ubuntu unique change.

Debian/changelog since last Ubuntu version:

elementtree (1.2.6-11) unstable; urgency=low

  [ Raphael Hertzog ]
  * Provides only ${python:Provides} and not hardcoded values.

  [ Piotr Ozarowski ]
  * Added XS-Vcs-Svn field
  * New python-support handles egg's directory name correctly (Closes: #423761)
    - bump python-support required version
    - remove mv part from debian/rules

  [ Torsten Marek ]
  * python-elementtree now suggests python-elementtree-doc (Closes: #384411)
