Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: cryptplug
Please remove cyrptplug 0.3.16-1 (source) and cryptplug/cryptplug-dev
(binaries) from Gutsy (Universe).
They have no reverse depends (cryptplug-dev depends on cryptplug, but
that's it)
The reason for removal is that this is an obsolete and
unused/unmaintained crypto library. It uses the buggy and unmaintained
development version of gpgme and has never been updated in several
years. I'm after removing gpgme (not gpgme1.0) as I believe that having
a buggy/unmaintained encryption library in the repository is actively
dangerous.
