Sorry, I didn't check enough carefully : there is already a hugin package in universe : http://packages.ubuntu.com/edgy/graphics/hugin
This is the same upstream version.

The only major change is that in debian, there are 4 packages (hugin, hugin-bin, hugin-data, hugin-tools) instead of a big one.
But it seems it can create problems when updating : http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=386321


So a sync is perhaps not a good idea (reject this bug ?).
