I have the same problem a Jad. I get broken dependencies error. I ran sudo apt-get install -f and it totally killed my installation. I had to reinstall Ubuntu completely, and on reinstalling libgnomevfs2-common_2.16.1-0ubuntu3_all.deb i got the same problem again.
