<font size="-1">Que versión instalaste? La 32 o 64 bit? Intentaste a
descargar de vuelta la ISO (por si hubo un error en la descara)?<br>

Intenta con Xubuntu a 32 bit, es mucho mas liviano, y (IMHO) tu
procesador no es demasiado potente para Unity/Gnome3..<br>
