GDM has been replaced by LightDM. I have replaced the LXDM with GDM
because I could not found any alternative to have the autologin enabled.
Since the LightDM came across there was no way for me to have the
autologin enabled so I needed to reinstall the 11.04 with the GDM back
on my pc. I hope that the autologin enabling works well now with LightDM
and that the final version will not consume lots of memory as what I
have read through the testings stories so far. <br><div class="im"><br><div>Bueno, el problema parece estar resuelto.
No sé por qué pero intenté postearlo como {resuelto] pero no me aparece en la lista (de nuevo) Googleando y googleando mirando los foros de Ubuntu, Lubuntu, launchpad
etc. encontré el mismo problema con la misma distro y misma versión. El
thread hablaba de muchas cosas hasta que apareció un iluminado en [0]
que pensó detenidamente y con calma, y puso<br>

yo abrí de nuevo hasta llegar a la pantallita celeste y cambié la
opción, entre las 7 que da para los escritorios y probé el escritorio
"lubuntu" y arrancó sin problemas, igual que "predeterminado". Las otras
5 opciones tienen el problema que comenté (GNOME/Openbox y Openbox) o
andan mal. Por ahora me quedo con esto que anda, alguna vez me gustaría
saber por qué no puedo usar las otras opciones. Y si, Lubuntu usa
lightDM. Por eso llegué a la respuesta. Y porque de chiquito me mandaron
a inglés y nunca me aburrí. Gracias a todos!!!!!!<br>
