Hola. Me acordé que Ubuntu Tweak tiene una opción que dice "Configuración de los íconos del escritorio" quizás te sirva. Si no tenés instalado Ubuntu Tweak podés descargar el deb de:<BR>

Sino fijate que compiz tiene un panel "Administrador de Opciones CompizConfig" (no recuerdo si viene por defecto o hay que instalarla) en el menú Sistema. Te diría que toquetees un poco ahí que quizás al desactivar o activar algo la cosa funcione.<BR>
