Hola Pancho soy de Cofico (Capital de Cördoba) y toco algo de oido el tema
de Ubuntu.
Pero me doy maña.

Yo para pruebas tengo un monitor de 17" viejo de LCD (color)
No se si te podria ayudar. (comunicarse por privado conmigo)
La otra que comentas y ya hiciste e hicieron pruebas a mansalva.
Es para dejar la PC con monitor monocromatico, yo buscaria un SO de la
antiguedad del monitor, se entiende.
O sea bajar la distro -por ejemplo Ubuntu 8.04- que se yo y probar, yo
tengo una distro Wary 5.05
O algun Debian Etch, que se yo -digo- nomas
Salutes -fermos- Fer Mosquera
