Como alternativa, pienso en voz alta.
Porque no bajas una ISO de 10.04.1 o 10.04.02 (no 10.10) creas con
Unetbootin un pendrive booteable y booteas desde Pendrive en Default y si se
te carga el escritorio, te fijas si te reconoce tu placa wirelees, si es
asi. Podes instalar desde cero.
Ya se posiblemente tenes otros SO, en fin fijate si puede ser viable, de
esta forma podrias terminar y dejar configurado tu Wifi desde el vamos.
