Just wondering what the most accessible method is
to bring up the volume control applet? The only way I know of at present
to do so is to bring up sound recorder, and then to select open volume control
from the file menu. The problem is that this method is not obvious,
especially for new users. I believe older versions of Gnome had a volume
control menu item under sound and video, and I'm curious as to why it
was removed?
