Enabling Screen Reader for Oneiric Alpha Live Session?

Is the procedure same as in prior versions of Ubuntu?  In the wiki pages 
on boot, installation, and post-install, I notice references to a 'boot 
menu'.  How do I choose "try without installing", without speech?  Can I 
by-pass this menu by something like the
"space, f5, 3, enter, enter" sequence I have used before?
