Okay, so I tried this in a virtual machine and it's a bit complicated,
but I'll try to explain step by step how far I got:
First, wait until the cd drive stops spinning (because we assume that
then the boot menu is loaded & shown).
Press Esc to hide the submenu that asks which language to use.
Press F5 to open the accessibility submenu, then press 4 times the down
arrow to select the "braille terminal" option. Press Enter to confirm
it.
Press Enter again to start the installation.
Now wait for 10 seconds or so (or maybe until the CD drive slows down
again) when a question appears on the console about the type of device
you have: B for Bluetooth, S for Serial, U for USB or X for eXit. It
also says that when you have an USB-device that can be auto-detected,
you should choose X instead of U.
I tried choosing S for serial, and it asked me first to enter the serial
device number and then to enter the model. Unfortunately I don't have a
braille terminal, so I can't really check if it works from here on...
