Hiya,
There are currently two different sessions at UDS dealing with accessibility.
The first one is on the desktop track so will be development oriented
(I suspect). It's called "Get the accessibility infrastructure updated
for use with GNOME 3 in Ubuntu" and is currently scheduled for
Wednesday at 9:00 UTC in the Cocobolo 1 room. (If you participate
remotely, the corresponding IRC channel is #ubuntu-uds-cocobolo-1 ).
The second one is on the community track and is "Reviving and
Reorganizing the Ubuntu Accessibility Team" and is about getting
ourselves as a community team more organized (things like creating our
goals and plans as was discussed in the last meeting -which I will
have notes from up later today). It's currently scheduled for Friday
at 15:15 UTC, however, if we want, we can move it earlier in the week.
Personally, I'd prefer to move it earlier, however, if any of you have
any objections, please let me know ASAP. If I haven't heard any
objections by the time I go to bed tonight, I'm going to ask them to
move it earlier. Feel free to also let me know if certain times are
better for you. We're in Belgium, so figure we will be having sessions
between 8:00 to 18:00 UTC most days.
For those of you who aren't here (which I know is most of you), you
can find out information about participating remotely on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UDS-M/RemoteParticipation
I hope as many people can make these sessions (either in person or
remotely) as possible! And please do give me feedback on timing for
the community-related Ubuntu Accessibility Team session!
Thank you!
Penelope (Pendulum)
