orca with sd as default

Hey all, I went ahead and installed Karmic on a test machine after
Luke's E-mail that said speech-dispatcher was now the default
engine. The biggest problem I'm having is that beginnings and ends
of words are cut off. EX: Hello might be ello or even hell. Is
this a pulse related problem? Also, will there be a sound when gdm
presents the user name and PW screen as there was in the past? If
not, how can I make orca start here by default so I know when to
enter my password? Any help here would greatly be appreciated. So
far, aside from what I believe to be a pulse issue, and I usually end
up disabling pulse any way, good work. This release looks to be pretty solid.
Thanks,
Guy
