has anyone tried the new develoment of ubuntu yet

Hi, has anyone ventured out and tried the karmic version of ubuntu that is now under development?
If so, does Orca work at this early stage? I tried the live CD, but my system stops booting after a few seconds. I wonder if this is because I have my home directory encrypted. I don't have another computer to try this on at the moment, so just wondered if anyone else has tried it.
