(solved) no sound after jaunty upgrade

Hi all, I just wanted to report back and let ya know that I solved my 
sound issues without clean install via the link at the bottom of this 
message.  Will not work if you've actually gotten pulseaudio working, 
and prefer to keep it running, as it disables pulse completely.  It does 
not uninstall it, so if you want to venture into pulse later, you can.  
I hope this helps, or may help someone new upgrading from intrepid to 
Jaunty.
