the 9.04 live cd still asks for user name

Hi, I downloaded the 9.04 live CD again today and found it still wants a username. Either that or there is some other reason for getting the sound you get at the login prompt.
Has anyone who can see looked into this? I say that because maybe they wrote login instructions at the login prompt.
