a question about system rescue distros

Hi, I know there are several live distros of Linux built as system rescue distros.
Does anyone know if anyone has created a fully accessible one that uses software speech? I would be interested in one that would let you copy files and partition hard drives. I know this can be done using grml, but I thought there may be a distro targeted for this purpose.
Mike.
