I have a question about file browsers

Hi, in the dos days there was a nice little program called sdir. It was a file browser that once ran let you use the arrow keys to look at different files.  If I remember correctly, sdir even let you change to different drives.
  Does anyone know if there are any file browsers like this for Linux?
