trouble with setting up auto starting of orca

Hi, I am using the latest version of ubuntu that is now under development.
After getting updates today I see the accessible login works differently. I get a message saying you have to be the root user to configure gdm.
When I run gdm from the terminal it says it is already running.
My question is, how do we set orca to start when you login since the old way is no longer axcessable from the gnome desktop.
